Representing a consortium of landowners GM Design Associates prepared a housing led masterplan for the 30 hectare site that comprised the former Gorteen House Hotel and adjoin agricultural land. We successfully got the land zoned for housing in the Northern Area Plan and following resolution of all technical & environmental issues obtained outline planning approval for the proposals of the masterplan including improvements to major junctions affected by its proposals. We continue to represent landowners in the development of this extensive site and new residential neighbourhood and have implemented the masterplan's objectives by delivering:
• Enabling works and infrastructure including site access & right turn lane, internal roads, cycle path and site services and utilities
• A commercial complex comprising petrol filling station and commercial units.
