This landmark building in the heart of Portrush won a commendation from the Royal Society of Ulster Architects in 2006. The biennial award recognises the best in Ulster architecture and always attracts a large entry.

The contemporary building uses free flowing curved roofs, stone walls and floor to ceiling fully glazed walls to be both a reflection of its coastal location and an opportunity to enjoy the magnificent setting.

A restaurant opens off the main street in Portrush giving a prime view over the coast while an ice cream parlour on the lower floor adds to the life of the sea front promenade by allowing both walkers and beach goers a chance to rest up for a few minutes. A carefully designed interior continues the coastal theme further enhancing the enjoyment of the location.
