GM Design Associates were commissioned to devise a master plan that would enable the restoration of the Galgorm Estate, which includes grade A listed Galgorm Castle, a historic Demesne and a range of physical and environmental issues.
The scheme includes refurbishment of the early Jacobean Castle and outbuildings with conference facilities, a championship standard 18-hole golf course, new business units, a garden centre and housing. Along with our in-house planning consultants, architects and landscape architects we led and co-ordinated the work of other specialists including traffic engineers, arboriculturalists, quantity surveyors, archaeologists, ecologists and specialist golf course designers.
